We hope you're relishing the joys of our favourite season.
We've been busy working on some new wonderful projects, including our High Summer Capsule Collection - a mini collection of pieces, incorporating our iconic Ankh embroidery with 2 new summer silk colour-ways and some new styles too. It will be available by pre-order only for a limited time. We'll be launching the collection in mid-July, so do look our for updates on our launch date on social media and via our newsletter.
Alongside the capsule, we're also working on our new embroidery for our next major collection, which launches at the end of September; in time for our 1st Anniversary. It is absolutely exquisite and it has taken us nearly 6 months to develop, from an idea that I'd been playing with, to the initial illustrations (created by my daughter, A'isha), to sampling with our amazing French embroidery manufacturers. In keeping with our concepts, the design explores an iconic symbol synonymous with Black and African culture. We'll also be introducing some new silk colours that compliment all tones, but especially melanin rich tones, and of course some new designs. I'm so excited to reveal all soon!
New Stockist
Furthermore, since our last Blog post, we've gained our first stockist!
When IHUOMA was just an idea on a vision board in 2017, I visualised seeing our lingerie and loungewear pieces stocked in some of the most desirable boutiques, offline and online and department stores around the world . Fast forward to 2021, 6 months into launching, I am so happy to say we have gained our first US stockist!
Haus of Holocene is a LA based online luxury lingerie boutique founded by Jordyn Higham. Haus of Holocene strives to share some of the best lingerie collections from all over the globe, and I'm delighted to see IHUOMA as part of their exquisite offering. ... & Finally, our 'Divine Feminine' Collection is still making waves and and its been so wonderful to see images of our wonderful customers wearing IHUOMA on social media.
